Introducing Our New Peace and Justice Intern

Howdy Ya'll,

My name is Isaiah Jones and I'm a Peace and Justice Intern with AFSC. I am a 20 year old junior Political Science major with a dual concentration in Womens' Studies and Communications Studies at Xavier University of Louisiana. As a lover of words, I will strive to diversify my understanding of the ways of speaking native to the Greater New Orleans area. I will also like to increase my ability to communicate with people.

Introducing Our New Peace by Piece Interns

Hi,

My name is Erick Dillard. I'm a 19 year old freshman at Dillard University. One of my goals while interning with AFSC is to use their "Peace by Piece" program to network with organizations in the New Orleans area. I feel that working with AFSC is a good opportunity for me because I am passionate about working with youth in New Orleans. I want to influence everyone to make our community better.

Hello,

My name is Antoinette Berger. I am 16 years old and I'm an intern at AFSC. I am a sophmore at the Academy of Our Lady High School.  The biggest goal that I hope to accomplish in my internship is to gain the ability to effectively address a group of children. This is important to me beacause I hope to work with young people in my career plan. Many people don't know that I am a pro life activist and I have attended the March for Life in Washington, D.C.
